Although we have experienced record warm temperatures for October and November this year, it’s never too early to prepare the skin for the winter months when the body has to adapt to central heating indoors and freezing weather outside.

MANAGING POLYCISTIC OVARIES SYNDROME

Polycystic Ovaries Syndrome affects 1 in 10 women and can show itself as early as puberty. Unfortunately the cause is unknown and there is at present no known cure, apart from radical surgery. The condition often presents itself with oily skin, acne, weight increase, particularly around the waist, excess hair growth to the face, neck, chest, stomach and back, but often thinning hair to the scalp, and irregular or no periods.
