Although we have experienced record warm temperatures for October and November this year, it’s never too early to prepare the skin for the winter months when the body has to adapt to central heating indoors and freezing weather outside.
 We have to protect the body and the skin from dehydration. Drinking plenty of water is essential, particularly during the party season when we may be drinking more alcoholic drinks which can cause dehydration to the body. Exfoliation is essential during the winter months to help remove the dry skin from the surface. Your moisturiser will also work more effectively instead of just softening the dry, dead cells on the surface. Try to exfoliate the skin two to three times a week and then follow with your moisturiser. A nourishing moisturising face mask can be applied once a week. Some light moisturising masks can be left on overnight for maximum effect. However, remember to wash it off before confronting the family in the morning!
