Eye Treatments in Chester
If your eyes look tired even when you feel well rested, the reason is not always the same. Dark circles, puffiness, fine lines, crepey skin and a heavier-looking upper eye area can all need a different approach.
At Hough Green Clinic in Chester, we offer a carefully chosen range of advanced eye treatments, including BYONIK Eye, HIFU Eye Lift and microneedling, so we can tailor the plan to your individual concern, rather than taking a one-treatment-fits-all approach.
Eye Treatments
The skin around the eyes is thinner and more delicate, which is one reason this area often shows tiredness, dehydration and age-related change early. Dark circles can be linked to ageing, genetics, allergies, lack of sleep, hyperpigmentation, dehydration or shadowing from hollowing, while puffy eyes are often related to fluid build-up in the tissues around the eyes.

What Our Eye Treatments Can Help With
How We Choose the Right Eye Treatment
If your main concern is puffiness, dehydration or a tired-looking eye area, BYONIK Eye is often the best place to begin. If the bigger issue is mild laxity or a non-surgical eye lift, HIFU may be more appropriate. If the skin around the eyes feels crepey and lined, microneedling may be the better fit. The important thing is that not every dark circle or eye bag is caused by the same thing, so the best treatment depends on whether the issue is fluid retention, thinning skin, laxity, shadows, pigmentation or a combination of these.
Clients see the best results with a staged approach rather than trying to do everything at once. Calming and hydrating the area first, then moving on to tightening or collagen-focused treatment where needed, often gives a more sensible and more comfortable plan.
Final suitability is always confirmed in consultation.
Our Advanced Eye Treatments
BYONIK Eye Treatment
When the main issue is puffiness, tiredness, dehydration or a generally tired look, BYONIK Eye is often a great place to start. Byonik helps with fine lines, under-eye bags, dark circles and puffiness, using gentle lymphatic drainage, a peptide-rich complex and Pure Collagen Eye Pads to deeply hydrate and refresh the area. BYONIK also smooths the lower eye area and upper eyelid while helping de-puff and hydrate the delicate under-eye skin.
This is the sort of treatment that suits clients who want a fresher-looking eye area without downtime. It is also a useful option when the skin feels stressed or depleted and needs support rather than a more active procedure straight away. Our Byonik Eye treatment takes 30 minutes and can be added to another facial or skin treatment which may be part of your skin plan.

Microneedling Treatment
If the concern is more about texture, fine lines, crepey skin or the general quality of the under-eye skin, microneedling can be a very useful option. Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels in the skin, which triggers a repair response and stimulates collagen. Dermatology sources use it to help with fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin and uneven texture, and the aim is brighter, firmer skin around the eyes.
This is usually the more active of the three options. Results are not instant in the way a Byonik hydrating eye treatment can be, but it can be very helpful when the goal is longer-term improvement in skin texture and resilience rather than just a quick freshen-up. At our clinic, the treatment plan is personalised rather than copied from a standard package.
HIFU Eye Lift Treatment
When mild laxity is the bigger issue, for example crepey skin, a slightly heavier upper eye area or lines linked to loss of firmness, HIFU Eye Lift may be the most suitable option. HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy to stimulate collagen and elastin support deeper in the tissue. Studies and reviews on periorbital HIFU and microfocused ultrasound report tightening benefits for mild to moderate eyelid laxity and wrinkle concerns, with generally minimal adverse effects.
HIFU is not surgery, and it does not aim to recreate a blepharoplasty result. What it can offer is a non-surgical eye lift approach for the right client, with improvement building gradually over time rather than appearing instantly. We recommend a course of two to three treatments over a 12-month period for optimal results.

What To Expect
Prior to Treatment
We begin with a consultation and skin assessment so we can work out whether the concern is mainly puffiness, dehydration, laxity, fine lines or a mixture of several things. This is also where we can be honest about what is likely to improve well and what may need a different route.
Treatment Time
BYONIK Eye is the gentlest option and is designed as a comfortable 30-minute treatment. HIFU Eye can feel quite stimulating in some areas, but there is no downtime, while microneedling is the more active option and is usually chosen when collagen stimulation and texture improvement are the priority. The sensation and intensity vary depending on which treatment is chosen.
After Care
Most clients go straight back to normal activities after BYONIK Eye and HIFU Eye. Microneedling can leave the area pink or lightly red for 24 to 48 hours, which is one reason we always take your lifestyle into account as well as your skin concerns. Results then build in different ways depending on the treatment. BYONIK offers a more immediate refreshed look and HIFU and microneedling results develop more gradually.
What Our Clients Say!
Who These Eye Treatments May Suit
These treatments may suit you if you are bothered by tired-looking eyes, under-eye puffiness, fine lines, crepey skin or mild laxity around the eye area and want a professional, non-surgical option. They are especially useful for clients who want a fresher look with little to minimal downtime and who prefer a personalised plan rather than guessing which treatment to try first.
The right option depends on the cause of the concern. A puffier eye area may need a different approach from a darker under-eye area, and both can be very different from skin laxity or crepey lines. That is why the consultation is such an important part of getting this area right.
